ACRZ Events

When we planned our trip to Africa we packed laptops and Ipads to bring to the teachers. In Johannesburg we stocked up on undergarments and various basic clothing.

Once in Victoria falls we purchased toiletries and hygienic products. The plan was to meet with the teachers and have them distribute everything to the children that needed them most.

However, after meeting with the team and visiting the areas around Victoria Falls, we decided that we needed to do much more, so we came up with our first 4 Projects.

Our team in Zimbabwe has had various meetings with the community and educators in the schools, and they are working together to ensure that every dollar is used for our Projects and that each endeavour is a success.

Our team made sure that all children received a gift of clothing, hygienic supplies, toy or school supplies, so no one would be left out.

Work has begun at some of the schools, but it is limited due to the lack of water and other resources. We hope to change this with donations from our community .

The most vulnerable children in each school received uniforms and had their school fees paid by us so they could go ahead and register for the new year. These are 45 children out of 270 in Praise Elementary that would not be in school if we did not help them.

After meeting with Tambirayi and Roland we put our heads together and came up with the most urgent needs for the rural communities that they worked in and we created a plan to address them.

The schools put on various events for the children including dance, music, sports and celebrations.
